2.5 System Requirement Specification:
Hardware and Software Requirement:
Android development tools run on all flavors of computer operating system such as Mac operating system, Linux or Microsoft Windows.
Software Requirements:
The software required for android development is free and readily available on web and they are as follows
a. The java Development Kit (JDK).
b. The Eclipse IDE with the android plugin.
c. The android SDK and add-ons such as the Google Maps SDK.
Programming knowledge:
Good programming knowledge of Java and XML within the android environment.
